Lower School - Spanish Teacher

We are seeking a Lower School Spanish Teacher (PK-6) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, create a positive learning environment, and maintain continuity in the Spanish language curriculum

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily Spanish language instructions for students in grades PreK-6

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

• Assess student progress and provide feedback

• Provide differentiated support for students with varying learning styles

• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents

• Maintain a safe and organized classroom space

• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required

• Provide daily supervision and support during lunch and recess

• Follow school policies and procedures

• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education or related field

• Fluency in both English and Spanish

• 3-5 years of experience teaching Spanish to students of various ages and skill levels

• Proficient in using technology for classroom instruction and communication

• Valid ODE teaching certification or Substitute License

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
