Job Title: Long-Term Substitute Teacher (Grades 3-4)

We are seeking a Long Term Substitute Teacher for third and fourth-grade Language Arts and Social Studies to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, create a positive learning environment, and maintain continuity in the curriculum during the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily instruction for students in grades 3-4 in Language Arts and Social Studies.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Offer differentiated support for students with different learning needs.

• Communicate regularly with students, colleagues, and parents.

• Ensure a safe, organized, and engaging classroom setting.

• Supervise students during lunch and recess.

• Follow school policies and procedures.

• Attend staff meetings and participate in required professional development.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

• Experience teaching elementary-aged students (preferred).

• Comfortable using technology for teaching and communication.

• Valid ODE teaching certification or Substitute License.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
