Long-Term Substitute - Spanish Teacher

We are seeking a Long Term Substitute Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, create a positive learning environment, and maintain continuity in the Spanish language curriculum during the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily Spanish language instructions for students in grades PreK-6, following the curriculum and lesson plans provided by the primary classroom instructor.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Assess student progress and provide feedback
Provide differentiated support for students with varying learning styles
Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
Maintain a safe and organized classroom space
Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required
Provide daily supervision and support during lunch and recess
Follow school policies and procedures
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education or related field
Fluency in both English and Spanish
3-5 years experience teaching Spanish to students of various ages and skill levels
Proficient in using technology for classroom instruction and communication
Valid ODE teaching certification or Substitute License
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
This is a long-term, 6-8 week substitute position for the first semester. The long-term assignment will begin on February 17, 2025, and continue through May 30, 2025.
